Hailsham Active is a community interest company which supports local sports clubs and community organisations to develop sporting and physical activity for the benefit of local people in Hailsham and surrounding area.
Keep Fit Programme has been developed by Andrea Meszaros who started working with us as an exercise class instructor in 2018. Since then we made improvements of exercise classes and extended our services.

Exercise Classes
Exercise classes are suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Offering a variety of types and styles of sessions.
People can take part in chair based/supported classes, exercise mat workouts, using different equipment: dumbbells, kettlebells, battle rope, resistance bands, agility ladder, steps and balls.
You can find in our range; Tabata, HIIT, Circuit, Aerobic, Mobility, Functional Resistance Training, Dance, Flexibility and Stretching, Coordination and Balance, Bootcamp, Games, Themed classes, Boxercise, Kick Boxercise. Some classes are seasonal either winter indoors or summer outdoors.Always check our latest timetable.

Workshops
Step by Step Workshops are organised along different fitness and health topics: women’s health, weight management, sedentary lifestyle, strength training, exercise with long term health conditions, nutrition. menopause and a lot more.
It contains an educational presentation, discussions in an interactive engaging way. Attendees are getting more comprehensive knowledge and support of how to improve and maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
People who take part in workshops are more likely start a new exercise and nutrition programme and change mindset.

Personal Training
1 to 1 or mini group training up to 4 people.
You can choose online and in person sessions. In person sessions are available as a home visit, too.
Prices start from £15/session, depending on length and location.

Exercise Referral Scheme
Healthy Steps is an Exercise and Wellbeing Programme. Most people living with long term health conditions* can enter into via their GP Referral or through self referring.
All participants fill in a detailed health and lifestyle questionaire and receive a fitness evaluation and action plan. Then people can choose from taking part in different exercise classes, workshops or in personal training depending on their needs.
